Denver — Police arrested a man on Saturday night who said they were involved in a home invasion that shot and killed two injured during a gun battle at home.
19-year-old Ragat Adan has been detained for an attempted murder investigation. The shooting that occurred It is located at 2900 blocks on South Madison Street. The two suspects are still prominent.
According to police, Adan and two other men entered the house through a gun-armed, unlocked front door. They ordered three of them to reach the ground. However, police said one of the victims had counterattacked and a gun battle had occurred between the suspect and the victim.
Two people in the house were attacked. One grabbed the back of his head and the other had a gunshot wound on his arm. Both victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to a statement of possible causes, Adan was hit by a bullet and sought treatment at a nearby emergency medical facility. He was eventually transferred to Denver Health and arrested. Police said he was uncooperative when asked how he was shot. The two men who took the suspect to the emergency clinic fled in an unknown direction.
Police said the suspect was not invited to the house and was a stranger to the victims inside.
