South Lake Tahoe (CBS13) — One died and several others were rescued from a burning apartment in South Lake Tahoe.
When firefighters arrived at the Pineapple Bird site on Monday morning, they found victims hanging from a window on the second floor.
First responders rescued six people from the second floor, and one escaped from the first floor on their own.
Healthcare workers were unable to revive another person found on the ground floor.
