According to Patty Copperfield, director of MEO Transportation, these buses will be available in the coming weeks, subject to driver training and other requirements.

Mark Takamori, director of the Maui Department of Transportation, said: “The bus has upgraded its suspension to provide a smoother ride.”

Each bus can support eight regular or four wheelchair passengers, each costing about $ 140,000.
