Since the pandemic began, the state has had a total of 1,082,815 confirmed and estimated cases of COVID-19, including the 1,297 additional cases reported today and a total of 19,428 deaths (additional deaths reported today). Includes (including zero).
According to ODOH, mortality statistics are no longer reported daily for accuracy.
Since the pandemic began, the total number of viral hospitalizations is now 57,287. Eighty-six hospitalizations have been reported in the last 24 hours, during which eight have been reported to have been admitted to the ICU.
It is estimated that approximately 1,033,667 people have recovered from the state’s illness.
The counties in Ohio that have the highest cases of coronavirus are:
- Franklin: 125,808
- Kaiyahoga: 111,972
- Hamilton: 79,972
- Montgomery: 51,406
- Summit: 47,145
To date, the number of people vaccinated in the state is 4,826,414, or about 41.29% of the population. That number includes those who have taken one or two shots so far. In the last 24 hours, 22,225 people have been vaccinated.
As the state and Mike DeWine reported yesterday, Ohio’s case rate has declined slightly.
