Columbus, Ohio (WJW) — Ohio Health Department releases State latest Coronavirus Tuesday afternoon numbers.

Since the pandemic began, the state has had a total of 1,085,733 confirmed and estimated cases of COVID-19, including the addition of 1,411 cases reported today and a total of 19,441 deaths (13 reported today). Includes additional fatalities).

According to ODOH, mortality statistics are no longer reported daily for accuracy.

Since the pandemic began, the total number of viral hospitalizations is now 57,545. 143 hospitalizations have been reported in the last 24 hours, during which 15 people have been reported to have been admitted to the ICU.

It is estimated that approximately 1,038,027 people have recovered from the state’s illness.

The counties in Ohio that have the highest cases of coronavirus are:

  • Franklin: 126,120
  • Kaiyahoga: 112,407
  • Hamilton: 80,149
  • Montgomery: 51,559
  • Summit: 47,292

To date, the number of people vaccinated in the state is 4,880,699, or about 41.75% of the population. That number includes those who have taken one or two shots so far. Over the last 24 hours, 18,219 people have been vaccinated.
