Police confirmed that a 17-year-old boy had died after shooting in the Northern Lights on Wednesday night.
Aurora police said they were informed that the two were shooting at each other at S. Addison Way’s 4900 block around 10:30 pm on Wednesday. Both were taken to a local hospital.
The details of the shooting situation and the people involved were not immediately known.
Aurora police said a 17-year-old boy had died as a result of the shooting on Thursday morning. No additional information was released regarding death, victims, or suspects.
Detectives within the authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the shooting, police said.
No arrests were made as of Thursday morning.
This is the third shoot involving teens in Aurora in a few days.
Two 15-year-old suspects were arrested In connection with Aurora’s drive-by shooting, where six teens were injured last week.
Three teens were arrested In connection with the shooting of Aurora High School, which sent three students to the hospital on Friday.
