Lamar, South Carolina (WBTW) —Two men face drug charges after Darlington County lawmakers found more than 4.6 pounds of methamphetamine in a home in the Lamar area, officials said.
Both Vinson Irvine and Stephen Thomas were charged with trafficking in stimulants. This is a second possession breach aimed at distributing marijuana and a second possession breach aimed at distributing marijuana.
Irvine is also faced with the crime of trafficking cocaine and the third crime of ownership aimed at distributing crack cocaine.
Thomas has an additional count for a second possession for the distribution of controlled drugs, a second possession of weapons outsourced for violent crimes, and a second possession of crack cocaine.
According to the agent, the drug was discovered Wednesday while a search warrant was being executed off the Cartersville Highway. Authorities found 4.66 pounds of methamphetamine, 0.8 pounds of fentanyl, 0.8 pounds of marijuana, about 1 ounce of cocaine, less than 2 grams of crack cocaine, pills, stolen guns, and $ 9,031 in cash.
