Greenville County, South Carolina (WSPA) – Two people charged with robbery and shooting in 2018 will be sentenced on Friday. The decision of Jermaine Williams and Mark Wright will take place on Friday morning at the Greenville County Courthouse.
Reported earlier Robbery, kidnapping, and shooting incidents that occurred in September 2018. On September 25, a masked man ambushed Warren Willis when he left the WE Willis grocery store on Highway 414.
According to his agent, Willis was tied up with a cable tie, kidnapped, and taken to his home on Sweet Gum Road. According to the agent, the man went to the store with a stolen truck.
The suspect parked the stolen truck on Howard Drive, walked 0.5 miles to the business, and waited for Warren Willis to leave the store. According to the sheriff, when Willis went out, the suspect brutally attacked him – tied him up with a cable tie and loaded him into the backseat of Willis’ car.
Willis was taken to his house, where the suspect also detained Willis’ wife, the agent says. According to the agent, the suspect beat the couple for 30 to 40 minutes.
Mrs. Willis was shot and stabbed after torture, the agent says. The suspect was left in Willis’s car after looting the couple’s house and stealing cash.
Six others have been prosecuted in connection with this case. Williams and Wright will be sentenced on Friday.
