On June 30, a grand jury filed an indictment alleging that Brooks and Wesley had committed multiple crimes using stolen vehicles over the days of January 2022.

However, the accused pair came back and demanded more. And that led to a battle that ended in a shootout. One of the victims was shot dead and injured before Brooks and Wesley took off again.

Both Brooks and Wesley are held at the Clark County Detention Center. Wesley will be in court on July 11th, and Brooks will be in court next week on July 6th.
