2 dead following crash with semi on Highway 14 in Weld County – Denver, Colorado

Weld County, Colorado — A semi-truck and pickup truck crashed on Highway 14 in Weld County early Wednesday morning, killing two people.

Master Trooper Gary Cutler of Patrol, Colorado, said the crash occurred near Weld County Road 31 at around 3:56 am.

At the time of the crash, the semi-driver was driving eastward and the pickup was moving westward.

Two of the pickups were killed in the crash, according to Cutler. The driver was a 25-year-old woman and the passenger was a 28-year-old woman. According to Cutler, the driver may have come from Fort Collins and the passengers may have come from Oregon.

The cicada driver was walking and talking on the scene, but he said he could have been slightly injured.
