College Park, Georgia (CBS46) — Police in College Park are searching for someone who shot and killed two people in a car accident.
The shooting took place Tuesday night at I-285 East near the exit of Riverdale Road.
A 9-1-1 dispatcher received a call reporting a wrecked vehicle on the freeway, according to a College Park police spokesman. When the police arrived, there were two people in a white pickup truck, carrying multiple gunshot wounds. The driver died on the spot and the passengers were rushed to a local hospital but subsequently died.
According to police, someone fired at the victim’s car while the victim was driving near the Riverdale Road exit in 285 East. After firing, the victim collided with two other vehicles.
Police said the first evidence, from the position of the bullet on the passenger side of the pickup truck, indicates that the road rampage may be the motive.
Investigators blocked the highway for several hours while police were investigating the case.

Police provided advice to drivers who may encounter a road rage incident. A spokesperson for the College Park Police Department said, “If someone blocks you or accidentally blocks someone else, don’t involve another driver.
