Las Vegas (KTNV) — Clark County Elections Bureau’s warehouse went to zero on Tuesday night with ballot counting.
Election officials in Clark County say they are on track so far. They report that more than 68,000 people voted early and more than 90,000 postal ballots were processed.
Compare this to the 2018 Mid-Term Primary, where more than 101,000 people voted early.
Voter registrant Joe Gloria states that election security and transparency are priorities.
“Here is a process with a high level of integrity in what we do,” Gloria said. “We have completely changed the ballot processing area to give more access to observers who want to enter. We are very pleased to explain the process to them. increase.”
Election officials say registered Republican voters usually voted directly, but Democratic voters are more aggressive in using postal ballots.
