There is currently a $ 20,000 bounty for information about the disappearance of a 72-year-old woman from Lorton, Virginia.

Emily Lou was last seen walking with her items from Aldi’s grocery store on June 3rd. She was reported missing the day after she did not appear in the job of caring for the elderly.

Lou’s daughter said at a press conference on Tuesday, “It’s very different that she was so devoted to her family, clients, and everyone that she didn’t speak to her work and didn’t show up.” It was.

Major Ed O’Carroll of Fairfax County Police said the murder unit was also under investigation, and police conducted extensive search and rescue operations in the immediate vicinity and beyond.

“I suspect someone in the community knows information we don’t know,” Ocarol said.

Ocarol urged anyone with information to call the criminal solver anonymously at 1-866-411-8477. You can also anonymously text “FCCS” and hints to 847411.

“Keep an eye on my mother Emily Lou. We are very worried about her. We want her to go home safely. We love her directly. I want to tell you that I am, “said Lou’s daughter.

She said her mother has lived in the community for 30 years and loves to live in the area. During the pandemic, Lou took on the job of caring for the elderly at her home.

“She wants to provide the same level of care she expects from her family,” her daughter said.

A surveillance video from Aldi on Woodbridge shows Lou sorting groceries on a checkout line around 8 pm on June 3rd.

She then drove to her home in Lawton’s Davis Drive, 9200 block. Lou parked, but police said she had never taken groceries out of her car.

Police said the next day at Lou’s home, police found evidence suggesting that she may have been internally harmed.

Neighbors called the event “totally unusual.”

After she disappeared, police released Lou’s explanation. She said she had brown hair and brown eyes, weighed 130 pounds, and was 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Lou was last seen wearing a white shirt and white trousers with a purple design. She has a wound on her arm in a childhood accident.

Kevin Marines has lived next to her for over 25 years.

“She was never a problem for us. She was always very happy,” he said.

Steve and his wife Sandy live nearby.

“We just saw a lot of police activity,” Steve said.

“We hope and pray that they will find her,” Sandy said.

Malins wants Lou to be safe while police search for and post the missing person’s leaflet.

“I hope she’s fine no matter what happens to her,” Malins said.

Fairfax County Police urged the public to contact them at 703-691-2131 if anyone had any information.
