Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) —Metro Nashville Police officials are urging gun owners not to leave their guns in the car.

According to MNDP, 17 guns were stolen from cars and trucks, and 5 more were stolen from unlocked vehicles, according to gun theft reports from Sunday May 30th to Saturday June 5th.

So far this year, 343 guns have been stolen from the vehicle, according to Metropolis.
