On the evening of Friday, December 4, a magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck Southern California, centered near Aguanga.

The US Geological Survey recorded an earthquake at 9:41 pm

According to USGS data, the quake was most felt by residents of Riverside County, especially those of Temecula and Murrieta, but those up to Lake Forest and Laguna Niguel reported tremors.

Residents living north to Beaumont and Riverside and south to cities in eastern San Diego County, such as Lemon Grove and Santee, also reported quakes.
