Cleveland (WJW) — Cleveland Police are investigating two shootings that killed three people early Thursday morning.

The first event took place around 12:35 am in the West 47th Street and Denison Avenue areas. Police said police were called into the area to report the shooting and found two unknown men running on Hanon Drive. They boarded a black sedan and drove away.

Later, police officers found them in a parked car. Victims of both a 35-year-old man and an unknown female were sentenced to death on the scene after suffering a gunshot wound.

The second deadly shooting occurred at Elmwood Avenue 12500 at around 2:25 am. Police found a 26-year-old woman in the driver’s seat of a car that crashed. She had multiple gunshot wounds on her stomach and legs. A 23-year-old woman was also shot in the shoulders and legs. Both were taken to the Metro Health Medical Center, where the 26-year-old died.

Cleveland police said there was a dispute between the two women and another employee of the business. The investigator has identified the person of interest.
