According to officials, a pedestrian bridge collapsed in northeastern Washington, DC on Wednesday, blocking DC-295 and injuring at least three people.
According to DC Fire and EMS, the injured were slightly injured.
According to authorities, the bridges are on Kenilworth Avenue and Pork Street NE. According to the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operation Coordination (MATOC), all lanes of DC-295 are blocked.
Firefighters checked the car under the collapsed bridge and reported that no one was trapped.
Post-collapse DC-295 reported a back-up of about 3 miles north and 1.5 miles south.
