3 new Ochsner facilities to open in metro area – New Orleans, Louisiana

Three new Oxner Health facilities will be opened in the New Orleans area by the end of the year.

Covington’s Pediatric Center opened on November 17th at Interstate 12 and River Chase Shopping Center on East Brewster Road. The 18,000 square foot clinic is next to Target. The space also includes a Live Oak Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. Rozas Ward is an architect and Donahue Favret is a general contractor of development.

Oxner has a multipurpose clinic at Oakridge Place Shopping Center on Metairie’s 800 Metairie Road. Clinics include pediatrics, behavioral health, women’s and primary care services. The 12,450-square-foot clinic will replace the two previous retail spaces in the shopping center’s end cap. Construction is complete and the clinic is scheduled to open on December 14. The general contractor is the Ryan Gootee general contractor, with Rozas Ward as the architect.

The Physiotherapy and Training Clinic will open in mid-December at the Plaza 190 Shopping Center in 128 Gause Blvd. In Slidell. The general contractor for the 15,000-square-foot facility is Clement Construction and Grace Hebert Curtis is the architect.

Stirling Properties is a developer, rental agent and landlord for all three projects. The company said almost half of the 2 million square foot projects under development are in the healthcare industry.

Other projects include facility management at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Shreveport. Acquisition and redevelopment of the former Louisiana Heart Hospital in Rakumu. Development of four Oxner Kidney Care Clinics in the Greater New Orleans area. Development of the St. Tammany Cancer Center in Covington. Development of Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge Gloves.
