Portland, Oregon (KOIN) — A fire in Hazeldel’s house evacuated three people and killed one dog.

When Clark County fire brigade pulled to Northwest 94th Street on Monday morning, flames were seen coming out of the affected homes. According to Clark County Fire District 6, it took less than 30 minutes for firefighters to extinguish the flames.

Thankfully, the three residents were already able to leave the house, but the two dogs were trapped inside. The firefighter was able to find and save the dog and was rushed to an emergency veterinarian.

Sadly, the other dogs couldn’t be saved.

The cause of the fire has not yet been identified. Estimated damage has not been calculated, but residents are evacuating because the residence is habitable.
