Fresno, CA (KFSN)-On Sunday morning, more than 50 firefighters from several Fresno area crews fought four alarm fires for hours.

Fires on Andrews Avenue and Pleasant injured three people and left 56 homeless.

The fire brigade was called shortly before 5 am and immediately entered rescue mode, interrupting the medical assistance call.

Fire officials say 13 residential units were damaged or destroyed in the fire.

The crew is actively working to knock down these flames and will be encouraged to avoid this area.
