On Tuesday, the Tucson Unified School District announced that three teachers had been selected as finalists for this year’s Raytheon Education Leader Awards.
“As a classroom captain, I’m amazed at the infinite creativity and problem-solving skills of the crew,” said Christopher Ryan, Language Arts teacher and award finalist at Dodge Traditional Middle Magnet School. “There is no other job I want to do.”
In addition, Pueblo High School graphics and web design Ernesto Somoza also won the RLEA2021 award in the high school category.
