Las Vegas (KTNV) —Las Vegas police have reported arresting a third woman associated with an elder abuse incident last Christmas day.

The detective arrested 57-year-old Eleanor Walters. According to authorities, she is the owner and operator of a group home allegedly abused.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department initially reported on December 29, 2020 that its Special Victims section received a video from social media depicting elderly victims and vulnerable adults being physically abused by their caretakers. Did.

The detective was then able to identify and arrest 26-year-old caretaker Stephanie Gilbert and 23-year-old Jakia Edwards in the December 25, 2020 incident.

Police say Edwards could be seen in the video recording Gilbert beating and physically abusing the victims.

On Thursday, LVMPD says Walters was booked at Clark County Detention Center. She faces four counts that ignore the elderly or vulnerable, two counts that abuse the elderly or vulnerable, to abuse, exploit, or quarantine the elderly or vulnerable. I’m colluding.
