O’Fallon, Missouri (KMOV.com) – Four suspects were arrested for theft in O’Fallon, Missouri on Tuesday night.

According to O’Fallon police, police officers were called to a store in Mexico Loop Road West shortly before 8 pm after four suspects stole “felony goods from the store.” Three of the suspects fled before police arrived, but a fourth was left behind.

The three suspects who took off were later found sitting in a parked car on a driveway in a nearby neighborhood. They refused to cooperate with the officer and drove away. Police tracked the vehicle and a stopstick was deployed near the intersection of Highway K and Highway N. After the car passed the stopstick, it was disabled and eventually stopped on highway 364. The suspect then fled to the adjacent farmland and was detained.

The three suspects trying to escape the police and the fourth suspect left behind are currently detained at the O’Fallon police station until a warrant is filed with the St. Charles County Public Prosecutor’s Office. According to police, the stolen property has been recovered.
