Aurora, Colorado — Aurora police are investigating a shooting that injured five victims between the ages of 16 and 20 overnight outside a party on East Colfax Avenue. Police are working to identify the suspect and have not been arrested.

Police said the victims were all men and were expected to survive the injury.

According to Aurora police, the shooting occurred around midnight on Sunday near North Dayton Street and East Corfax Avenue.

Arriving police officers found two gunshot victims on the scene and they were taken to the hospital. The other three victims self-transported and immediately appeared in the hospital.

According to the agency, police officers arriving at the scene encountered a large number of people leaving the area, believed to have been attending a party at 9709 East Colfax Avenue.

At this time, it is unclear if the shooting is related to the party.

Police were processing the scene and closed the area. No other details will be announced on Sunday.
