Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Albuquerque police say they arrested six drunk drivers at a drinking checkpoint on Friday night. According to the press release, checkpoints were in San Mateo and Haynes from 11:00 pm Friday to 2:30 am Saturday.

According to officials, 462 vehicles passed and two felony arrests were made for drug violations, in addition to the arrest for drunk driving. The checkpoint was a collaboration between the DWI unit and the swing shift motor unit.
