Trump, who is running for president in 2024, insisted he did nothing wrong on Jan. 6 and has repeatedly called the commission’s investigation a “witch hunt.” Following the release of the introductory material, he called the criminal charges “false charges made on January 6 by a highly partisan non-selection committee.”
