New Orleans police are investigating after six men were shot dead in eastern New Orleans. Two people died in an injury. The attack occurred on the 4800 block of Alcee Fortier Blvd after 2 pm. There were several scenes in the area, but NOPD officials said they treated the scenes as a single shoot. According to investigators, police officers in District 7 responded to the call for shooting, and when they arrived, police officers found two victims with obvious gunshot wounds on their bodies. EMT announced that a 25-year-old man had died in the field, and the second victim later died in a hospital. A 29-year-old man, a 33-year-old man, and a 57-year-old man were taken to a local hospital by private transportation and are now listed in a stable condition. An unidentified man also arrived at a local hospital by private transport and is currently listed in danger. Detectives are collecting information to identify responsible persons and motives.
