Las Vegas (KLAS) – The demolition company has given the ultimate gift to the mother of a 3-year-old boy who died in a mobile home fire in December. The company’s Trusted Demolition has charged the full amount to demolish a burnt mobile home and install a new mobile home.
It was a house shared by Rhiannon Meacham with his two daughters and his three-year-old son, Car-Den, until the early December fire killed Cayden.
“It quickly goes through your heartstrings,” said Susan Closson, owner of Trusted Demolition.
Closson’s company helped the Meacham family by dismantling nearly $ 6,000 for free.
“Nothing is more tragic than losing a child. I have two children, and that was exactly the right thing,” Crosson said.
Since the tragic fire that struck his son in December, Meacham has returned to the scene every day to demolish mobile homes one by one. The house could not be recovered and the insurance company was not responding.
In March, 8 News Now reported that a thief had invaded and robbed Kaden’s toys of what was left behind.
At that time, Mechaam’s mother, Tammy Cano, called various demolition companies until the Trusted Demolition responded.
“I would have been here for months trying to do it by hand,” Mechaam said.
Meacham was able to thank the company on Tuesday, when the six-month trial was finally over, showing hope after the tragedy.
