The St. Louis-Missouri Humane Society has removed nearly 100 dogs, including a few puppies, from a facility in southwestern Missouri, claiming they are suffering from severe neglect.

The St. Louis-based Humane Society said in a news release that 97 dogs were taken from the Arbana breeding facility on Tuesday.

The removal was coordinated with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and the Missouri Attorney’s Department of Agriculture.

The Humane Society says the operator was ordered to close the breeder in June for violating a consent decree after being cited in multiple breaches.

Rescue varieties include collies, standard poodles and more. Some dogs are as young as 10 weeks old.
