Easy on budget
Durham used this little rattan pendant on the world market sparingly, rather than a large statement lamp. This adds texture at a reasonable price. If you go without a window treatment, it will look cleaner.

The family-inherited armchair was covered with geometric fabrics from Lewis and Cheron textiles. “I love mixing modern and traditional, so the mod table combined with a vintage dining chair was the perfect combination in my book,” says Durham.
Designer Tips: Pedestal-style tables make seating easier because guests and families can slide over the table without hitting the legs of the table, Durham says. This metal and wooden oval table from LexMod is also chip resistant.
