A flower lunar eclipse will occur this week. Here is everything you need to know.
On May 15th or 16th, you can see the lunar eclipse reddening the Flower Moon, depending on the location. It may also be broadcast online in case you cannot see it directly.
This will be the first of only two lunar eclipse Don’t miss what happens when the new moon enters the shadow of the Earth, as it will be seen as the only people in North America in 2022 and this year.
Depending on where you are standing, the eclipse can be complete or penumbra. The latter happens when only the edge of the Earth’s shadow falls on the moon. At least some of the fully eclipsed moon phases are visible from parts of the Americas, Americas, Europe, Africa, and the East Pacific, while the moon phases in New Zealand, East Europe, and the Middle East are penumbras. The partial solar eclipse will officially begin on May 15th at 10:28 pm EDT (May 16th 0228 GMT). The lunar eclipse can be seen completely safely with the naked eye, with binoculars and a telescope. Also, unlike a solar eclipse, it tends to last for hours, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the show. However, if the weather is unpredictable or you cannot easily see the solar eclipse in your area, you can use the webcast.
NASA Science Live YouTube broadcast It will start on May 15th at 9:32 EST (0132 GMT May 16th). This includes live chat and discussions about the agency’s Artemis lunar landing program for astronauts.
Other YouTube broadcasts are available on Astronomy Webcasters Slow Starting at 9:30 pm EDT (May 16 0130 GMT), TimeandDate.com Thirty minutes later, it will start on May 15th at 10pm EST (May 16th, 0200 GMT). Slooh will broadcast the entire phase before moving to the members-only Discord channel. TimeandDate.com, on the other hand, will display the entire solar eclipse, as the weather permits.
The next and last lunar eclipse of 2022 will occur November 8, 2022.. It will be visible, at least in part, from Asia, Australia, North America, parts of Northern and Eastern Europe, and most of the Arctic and South America.
