Officials at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said he stole a hamby from the National Guard’s arsenal, broke through a fence, passed through part of the Golden, boarded a C-470, and eventually crashed into a wire. Later, on Friday night, a 34-year-old man was arrested in the middle of the highway when a deputy sheriff chased away.

Records show that Adam Mave was imprisoned in Jefferson County Jail on Friday. Reservation charges due to suspicion of holding Hanvey’s handle on the National Guard include weighted vehicle theft, vehicle escape, criminal mischief, and criminal mischief. Includes drunk driving.

According to the sheriff’s officeAt around 7:30 pm, Maybe headed to Camp George West’s National Guard Armory near the intersection of South Golden Road and Kilmer Street outside Golden.

Witnesses called the authorities after seeing the suspicious Humvee and the deputy sheriff, according to Mike Taplin, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

“He turned in front of some lawmakers, so they started chasing a little further away,” Taplin said, pointing out that the goal was to keep other drivers away from the car.

Mabe is said to have driven to the headquarters of the sheriff’s office in Golden and drove on the lawn before boarding the freeway.

Eventually, Mabe boarded the C-470, driving at 40 to 50 mph, followed by an agent. When Mabe collided with a wire barrier near the US 285 exit in the middle of the freeway, it looked as if he was about to make a U-turn, Taplin said, where he was detained.

“Fortunately no one was injured,” a sheriff’s office official wrote on Twitter after the incident.

Mabe was not listed on bail prior to her first appearance in court.
