The man who died was identified as Ravel Brandon, 45, on Long Beach on Tuesday and suffered a gunshot wound on his upper body.
Three people were involved in the shooting, and police said in a statement they knew each other. It was not clear which two fired the gun, but the shooting occurred during a dispute between the two parties.
The other two injured were identified only as a 49-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man.
According to police, the shooting was at around 10:45 am on Monday, E. It occurred near the intersection of 25th Street and Elm Avenue. Upon arrival, authorities found Brandon suffering from a gunshot wound in a 300-block dwelling on E. 25th Street, and said long beach fire rescue personnel had taken him to the hospital. The other two drove to the hospital.
Police said they had recovered two guns at the scene. Authorities are investigating the involvement of each person involved in the shooting, but are still trying to figure out who shot who.
Police said they were not looking for other suspects.
