A teenager in the United States saves a boy’s life more than 800 miles away after a crash on TikTok | US News

Adventurous young off-road enthusiast West Virginia Recently saved by social media when a teenager more than 800 miles away realized he was in need of help.

13-year-old Caden Cotnoir, who lives in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, saw 12-year-old Trent Jarrett riding a quad bike live. TikTok appDuring a streaming broadcast, Cayden witnessed Trent crashing a four-wheeled buggy in front of him.

Cayden watched the ongoing live feed and noticed that Trent was screaming for a phone number while trapped under a recreational bike.

Cayden immediately called the number and connected with Trent’s family who were able to take action.

About 20 minutes later, Trent was rescued. Thankfully, there were only small cuts and bruise.

Cayden is praised for his quick thinking and kind actions. His stepfather, Matt Currier, is the local police chief.

“He did what he was supposed to do and got the right people, and it worked,” Currier said of his son-in-law. “It was an Easter miracle.”

Cayden follows Trent TicktakuAccording to the Associated Press, both boys share an interest in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and off-road vehicles. Cayden recalled the moment he took action and explained why he realized that Trent was in trouble.

“Suddenly his phone went blank, I could see a little light and I could hear him screaming for help,” he told the local news station WMUR-TV.

“Sadly to hear, he was afraid he couldn’t understand it,” he added.

The two teens had the opportunity to talk to each other directly through Zoom on Monday, and Trent thanked Cayden for being “virtually there” to save him.

Trent told local news station WMUR-TV New HampshireThe number Cayden called was the only number he remembered at the horrific moment after the crash.

“I was screaming for my grandparents’ home phone number,” Trent said. “I could hardly breathe. I would like to thank everything he did.”
