Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Albuquerque Biop Park Begin a year-long celebration to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the aquarium and botanical gardens. In 1996, they joined the then-named Rio Grande Zoo and founded the ABQ Bio Park.

It has something a little for everyone. Allyson Zahm is BioPark’s Guest Experience Manager. “Nature is all in one, so you can explore the ocean, learn about the wonders of plants, and see amazing animals at the zoo,” she explains.

BioPark employees look forward to celebrating how far the park has come in 25 years. Some visitors say they have a chance to get. “I think it’s good to be here every year,” said visitor Michelle Palacios.

To commemorate, guests sharing BioPark’s birthday on December 5th were admitted free of charge, and otters got special enrichment and more. “We are very unique and we are really proud of what we have created here for over 25 years, as there are few places in the world like BioPark, let alone the United States.” ..

If you miss it, BioPark plans to continue celebrating all year round. “There are many more events and activities related to the 25-year celebration throughout the year. Take a moment to tell the story of everything you’ve done in the last 25 years and what’s to come.”

Employees say that with gross income tax, there will be money this year to improve further. “We’re really excited to see how this place will change and grow, as we’ll get another 10 years of funding from this tax through this master planning process,” Zahm said. ..

Next month, the park will celebrate sea turtles.You can still catch River of light It’s happening in the botanical garden until December 30th.

The River of Lights event has a timed ticket.They also need to be Pre-purchase online..

  • Monday-Thursday: Adults $ 14, Children $ 7 3-12 years old
  • Friday-Sunday: $ 17 for adults, $ 9 for children 3-12 years old
  • Free for children under 2 years old (no ticket required)

Also note that the ticket is only valid on the date and time specified on the ticket. Early entry is not available and last entry is 9pm. Tickets are non-refundable as RiverofLights is a fundraiser.
