An expert in areas including health education and public health, Stacy has developed and taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses at the UNO, the University of Virginia, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His main professional interests include planning and assessing health education programs and applying the principles and theories of health behavior. He has held leadership positions in numerous Omaha coalitions, including the Lead Safe Omaha Coalition, Omaha Asthma Alliance, Operation Stroke, Omaha Immunization Task Force, Omaha Healthy Start, and Metropolitan Omaha Tobacco Action Coalition. He also chaired the board of directors of the American Cancer Society of Nebraska.
