Las Vegas (KLAS) — The Tiger Show was one of the most popular acts in Las Vegas Srtip.

But now, magician Jay Owenhouse, who is proposing ideas, is facing obstacles.

The idea of bringing a tiger back near the Las Vegas Strip has upset many people living nearby.

Owen House has the idea of using a tiger to bring his magical show to Las Vegas.

He plans to pop up a tent and build a temporary sanctuary in a vacant lot in Sahara and Paradise, one block away from the strip.

“We don’t want to feel the stress of tigers being carried from one place to another every day,” says Owenhaus.

Christina Owenhaus says it’s not just about the show, it’s about consciousness.

“The tigers are in the show for about eight minutes, so it’s not that many, but it’s enough to see the audience see the tigers and see us interact with them. Soothing and protecting the tigers. I think it’s enough, “she told 8 News Now. ..

After hearing plans and public comments on Tuesday night, the Winchester Town Advisory Board resolved to recommend that the county reject the plan.

“For years, big cat acts have failed on the strip,” said Carrie Le Blanc of Compassion Works.

The majority of the people in attendance were delighted to hear what happened.

“Pop-uping a circus tent and letting a magician take the tiger out for a few minutes is something that people in the past are no longer interested in,” Leblanc said.

The Winchester Advisory Board’s recommendations for the proposal will be reviewed and finalized by the Clark County Committee on 22 December next month.
