Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) — The owner of the popular Good Life Bar in the Omaha Metro area had a liquor license in at least one location, but bar management will change.
Chad McMahon has sold all parts of Good Life, including West Omaha, Elkhorn and Papillion spots. The sale also includes the Good Life Lounge and the location of Gretna under construction.
The sale is directed to Aaron McKieber, Nick and Lori Heimann.
McKeever called 3 News Now, saying that customers are barely aware of the changes and expect all employees to continue working.
He said they wanted to open more places in the end.
McMahon was at risk of losing at least one liquor license in his bar, 180th and located in the Pacific Ocean. This happened after Omaha police said a minor appeared at a bar on Christmas night and was later involved in a car accident and was seriously injured.
Later, when OPD tried to capture security camera footage from that night, McMahon denied it to the police. Police received the warrant, but the footage of the night had been deleted.
Omaha city lawyer Matt Kuhse said in May that the city would indict McMahon for obstruction, but not as of Thursday morning.

The Omaha City Council could address the issue of McMahon and liquor licenses within the next few months.
A lawyer in the city of Omaha said at a council meeting that McMahon could lose all of its liquor license locations, depending on the decisions of the council and the Nebraska Liquor Commission.
McKeever said he would ensure that employees comply with the law. He doesn’t expect much opposition to getting a four-bar liquor license, saying he had no problems getting a liquor license for the upcoming bar, Barrel & Vine.
