Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) — Some passengers landed at BNA late Sunday night and noticed that the paid shuttle service was unresponsive.
“It’s not a big deal to say that they have a free shuttle open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but it certainly wasn’t,” said customer Francesca Walker.
According to travelers, the fly-away airport parking lot did not have staff to pick up cars and pick up keys at the parking lot.
“I was waiting at the airport from midnight to 4:30 by car,” said customer Brittany Parks.
Fly Away’s manager told News 2 that the situation was due to a shortage of staff and that affected customers would be reimbursed.
The customer said he took Uber to the parking lot to find a car and key to get home. When they arrived, customers said the gates weren’t locked, as were many cars.
The customer says he tried to ask Metropolis for help, but the response is delayed. So many people found their keys and went away.
“I’m 6 months pregnant. I’m very tired, I’m tired. I’m very frustrated, my husband is tired, I just wanted to go home, but by the time I got home The plane was delayed by an hour, even though I had another hour’s trip, “Walker said.
Walker and Parks told News 2 that the company hadn’t responded to the refund yet. Both were told to call the manager on Tuesday when he was in the office.
