Akron, Ohio (WJW) – Akron Marathon This year we will be back with new courses and safety protocols COVID-19 Pandemic..

FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon and Team Relay are scheduled for September 25th, with a new starting line location in downtown Akron. Capacity is also reduced.

Marathon runners will experience the Ohio and Erie Canal Toe Pass Trail, Merriman Valley, Sand Run Metro Park, West Akron District, and Stan High Wet Hall and Gardens along the revised course.
