Akron, Ohio (WJW) – The Akron community gathers outside the Harold K. Stabbs Judicial Center on Saturday night to protest the deadly police officers involved in the shooting. Jayland Walker..

The protest is set to start at 6 pm

A 25-year-old boy was shot dead by police on Monday.Police said Walker Fire From his car while chasing. After that, Walker got out of his car and started running.

Chief Steve Millet said he “threatened” when he turned around, so the policeman fired.The coroner said he had Multiple gunshot wounds.. It is uncertain how many times he was shot. Police did not disclose how many police officers were involved or how many times they were fired.

Akron Mayor Dan Holrigan and Police Chief Steve Millet will hold a press conference at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 3, to explain the details of the shooting.

City officials say they will review the video footage of the incident from a camera worn by police and release the video to the public after a press conference.
