Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Friday around 6am Albuquerque fire rescue Responded to a fire in a two-story townhouse located at 5700 blocks of Pinnacle Peak Ct. Near Unser and McMahon. When the firefighters arrived at the scene, the townhouse under construction was engulfed in flames and spread to the next townhouse, officials say.

According to AFR, the townhouse under construction was totally lost. Firefighters were able to evacuate residents of the second townhouse they had evacuated. According to officials, 10 units in the townhouse could have been affected by the fire, but firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and the damage was limited to 2 out of 10 units. No firefighter or civilian injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
