Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Albuquerque police will announce new details today in two recent police shootings at hotels and motels in Albuquerque in March and April. KRQE News 13 will livestream the upcoming press conference on this page and will begin reporting around 1:00 pm on Friday.

According to a news release from APD, the division is partially planning to discuss the deadly shooting of Shannon Lee Michael Candela Rio, 46, in the southeastern part of Albuquerque Motel 6. The shooting took place last month around 9:45 pm on April 12.
