Jefferson County, Colorado — All Evacuation and Pre-Evacuation Orders Platte river fire It was lifted on Sunday night in Jefferson County.

About 37 acres of fire were 50% contained as of Sunday afternoon. The fire is burning at Ramona Garchi, 4.25 miles northeast of Buffalo Creek and 2 mils east of Foxton.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office fired Evacuation order Around 7 pm

With the exception of locals, Pratt River Road will remain closed between Foxton Road and Douglas County Line until further notice.

The fire began on private land around 3 pm on June 10, and then ignited on US Forest Office land.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
