Allegheny County police arrested a man accused of raping an 11-year-old child on Friday night. Investigators arrested 29-year-old Joshua Pollard in response to a residence on 100 blocks of Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue at 8:30 pm. Police say Pollard had been sought for a warrant resulting from the incident in Pitcairn. The charges are against the rape of an 11-year-old child and other related sex crimes. Police officers say they believe they threw their pistols through a window on the third floor before Pollard was detained. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. The caller can remain anonymous.
