American Prismpop raises $ 5 million in total funding

The company aims to expand the creation and sharing of women’s lifestyle content so that consumers can find out what to buy online and get genuine information from the shopping community.
Prismpop, a US-based social shopping platform, recently shared that it has raised a total of $ 5 million in funding so far. The new round of seed funding was led by the Women Founders Fund, the largest seed fund investing in women entrepreneurs, with participation from Foundation Capital, Revolution Capital, Plum Ventures, McCar Capital and Wonst Capital.
Starting as an incubation company for Santa Monica-based Mucker Capital (known for funding Honey and TaskRabbit), Prismpop is a graduate of Bytedance (known as Tik Tok), which established its first US presence in North America. It is led by CEO and founder Peggie Li. member. Prior to that, he held digital media leadership roles at Maker Studios (acquired by Disney), AwesomenessTV (acquired by Dreamworks), Leaf Group, Fox Networks, and Sony Pictures.
