Fraton (CBSLA) — On Friday, Anaheim’s caretaker pleaded guilty to raping a woman with a severe disability in a life support facility and recording a video recording of sexual assault.
According to police, Raul Sargado Castro, 40, was arrested on his way to work and on suspicion of raping a 45-year-old long-term hospitalized patient who had been caring for nearly 20 years.
According to court documents, women have the same mental abilities as children aged 3 or 4 and have autism, mental retardation, and epilepsy. Police said she had no communication skills.
Sargado Castro was accused in court documents of recording a video of assaulting a victim who said police were able to retrieve it from his cell phone.
According to court documents, Sargado Castro “showed that he had alcohol and drug problems” when asked.
Salgadocastro was found guilty of felony rape and immediately sentenced to six years in prison.
