A man in Anaheim was arrested Tuesday after the suspect was found dead in their concurrent home, which had been banned by court order.
The victim, 59-year-old Santos Castillo, was found by police after responding to reports that his roommate, 22-year-old Marlon Garcia, had returned to his home at 500 blocks on North Philadelphia Street, police said. news release.
Garcia was out of the house when police arrived after 6:30 pm, but “tried to escape home through an already broken glass window,” the release said.
Police detained Garcia, who “caused herself to tear in an attempt to escape,” and found Castillo’s body, which “appears to be suffering from trauma.”
Police did not reveal why Garcia was locked out of the house.
Garcia was treated at a local hospital before being put in Anaheim police prison for a $ 1 million bail, police said.
Garcia did not appear in the search for prison records.
