Lady Bird, about five years old, is a mix of American Staffordshire Terriers who got lost in Animal Humane. Little is known about her past, but animal humanitarians have learned that Lady Bird is a very friendly and fan of cheese and squeaky toys.

Animal Humane New Mexico has reopened for walk-in adoption at both the Albuquerque Main Campus on 615 Virginia Street and the Westside Adoption Center at 10141 Coors Boulevard. Open daily from 10am to 6pm. The staff asks visitors to wear masks.

December 1st is the Wednesday of gratitude that comes after GivingTuesday, the biggest giving day of the year. Madison explains that this year the organization will be able to raise more than $ 61,000, which will be used to support the Animal Human program and the pets they support each year.
