Kansas City, Missouri (KCTV) — Annette Bloch, who donated millions of dollars to cancer research in the Kansas City metro area, died at the age of 94.

She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Kansas City after marrying Richard Bloch. Together with Henry Bloch, they founded H & R Block.
She has donated more than $ 30 million to the University of Kansas Health System and more than $ 2 million to the Truman Medical Center to help establish an expanded cancer treatment center.
At the age of 94, she said, “I exercised five days a week, and I was younger and more energetic until my cancer caught up with her.”
